10 out of 10. The best fine Italian restaurant ever I've been to in Australia. My husband is Italian and We were looking for such an authentic Italian restaurant like this in QLD for a long time. The waitstaff was well trained and professional. I can't describe in words how the dishes are delicious. I highly recommend for birthdays, wedding dinner or business meetings.

We had such an incredible experience at 1889 Enoteca. We dined there last night to celebrate my son’s 18th birthday, and it was our first visit after having it on our must-try list for so long. Now that we’ve finally been, it’s officially earned a spot on our return list — we loved every minute of it. Everything was a perfect 10/10 — the wine, the entrées, the mains, all absolutely delicious. we were so full, and little kids were little tired, so we couldnt get a chance to try the dessert. we will for sure next time. The service was just as impressive, with friendly, attentive staff who made the night feel extra special. From beginning to end, it was a truly memorable dining experience. Overall, it’s flawless, incredible food, superb wine, and impeccable service. Without hesitation, 10/10. We’ll absolutely be back. Thank you 1889 Enoteca!

This place is definitely the real deal when it comes to Italian food. 🇮🇹 Been back each year for my Husband's Birthday. Everything is top notch from the service to the food. They even gave him a little treat on the house this year. I can't ask for anything more.👌

A hidden gem at 1889 Enoteca, a captivating Italian restaurant in Woolloongabba. The food was exceptional, the beautiful exposed brick heritage building was a treat, and the service was top-notch. We highly recommend this restaurant.

We had such a fantastic experience here! From the moment we walked in, the staff were welcoming, attentive, and made sure everything ran smoothly. The service was quick without ever feeling rushed, and the team checked in just the right amount to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was outstanding – fresh, full of flavour, and clearly made with care. Each dish was beautifully presented, and you could really taste the quality ingredients. The gnocchi was light and fluffy, the pasta cooked perfectly, and the sauces rich and authentic. Portion sizes were generous, and everything came out piping hot. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for both a casual night out or a special occasion. Combined with the excellent service and amazing food, it’s easily one of the best Italian restaurants we’ve been to. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely be coming back!

I took my friend here for her birthday lunch and the food was just devine. The staff were attentive and lovely and were able to accommodate gluten free food for me easily. I believe they said there gluten free pasta was handmade by them (don't quote me). Definitely will be going again. They even brought out a complimentary treat for my friend as it was her birthday. So so lovely. It is a small space, so depending on how many people are there it can get noisy, but it was still easy to talk and focus on our experience.

The Tagliatelle with garlic crab meat was fresh and flavorful. The Gnocchi with beef pieces was rich in texture and tasty. The Risotto with creamy mushroom was a bit too heavy and less impressive compared to the others. Service was excellent and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Overall, a great dining experience worth recommending.

Amazing food, and definitely one of the most authentic Italians places in Brisbane. We’ve travelled Italy extensively and get so excited when we find pasta this good!! The pastas were fresh, tasty and generous in portion and the side of bread was warm, soft and crusty at the same time. The service was lovely and we appreciated the recommendations of wine to accompany our meal. Our table felt very close to the people beside us so that felt a little awkward but a faultless experience otherwise. Thank you, we look forward to coming back.
